POSITION OVERVIEW

As we continue to expand, we are seeking an experienced Project Manager, Technology (“PM-Technology”) to join our dynamic team and contribute to our ongoing growth and success. The PM is a fast-paced, detail-oriented role that provides project management expertise and general project support to internal and external Technology teams on one or more projects. The Xogene PM-Technology is an integral member of the organization, performing a diverse range of operational activities that directly impact the success of the Technology projects. This role requires attention to detail, a positive and up-beat demeanor, excellent project management skills and experience interacting in multi-cultural, global working environment.

REQUIREMENTS
• 10-14 years graduate or post-graduate experience in project management/coordination (in a consulting/ pharmaceutical environment preferred).
• Life science experience, process knowledge of clinical trials combined with supply chain. Experience in working global matrix organization and cross-cultural environment.
• Knowledge of drug development or clinical science preferred.
• PMP certification will be an added advantage.
• Hands on experience in developing applications in Python technologies.
• Expertise in managing full project management life cycle for implementing highly complex, large-scale, strategic IT and business initiatives.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills.
• Strong computer skills with Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Word.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Intercultural understanding with a global perspective.

KEY TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Provide project management and co-ordination expertise to the Xogene Technology teams on one or more projects.

• Define project scope, objectives, and deliverables. Develop a detailed project plan, including timelines, resources, and budget.

• Lead and coordinate cross-functional teams to ensure project goals are met. Assign tasks and responsibilities to team members.

• Manage the day-to-day planning and activities of the projects.

• Work with project team to manage and schedule resources to support project activities and follow-up to ensure completion.

• Expertise in managing full project management life cycle for implementing highly complex, large-scale, strategic IT and business initiatives.

• Demonstrate leadership abilities with the deployment of software upgrades, enhancements and fixes that are coordinated based on release schedules.

• Provide team with timely risk identification and mitigation.

• Ensure quality, accuracy and maintenance of project information tracking databases.

• Maintain and update communication plan.

• Facilitate project team meetings, ensuring effective project progression.

• Compile, follow-up on and maintain list of action item.

• Organize team meetings and team events, including new project team member on-boarding and training.

• Serve a key liaison with clients, conducting regular weekly or bi-weekly status meetings with client and internal teams.

• Provide continuous process improvement and allow regular constructive feedback to project team members.

• Maintain thorough project documentation, including project plans, status reports, and project closure documents.
