POSITION OVERVIEW

Offering a suite of transparency services, Xogene is a leader in innovative technologies and expert services to meet global clinical trial transparency. Combining deep transparency expertise with a modern technology stack, Xogene provides software solutions to automate tedious processes and track myriad studies, regulations and statuses. Our four unique technology solutions offer different ways to streamline and enhance various aspects of the trial process, including study design, patient recruitment, data collection, monitoring, and analysis. These technologies contribute to improving the efficiency, quality and participant experience in clinical trials.

As we continue to expand, we are seeking an experienced Front-End Developer to join our dynamic team and contribute to our ongoing growth and success. Qualified candidates should be motivated to combine design and programming to define and build great products. As a front-end developer, you will play a pivotal role in creating engaging and user-friendly web interfaces. Collaborating closely with cross-functional teams, your primary responsibility will be to transform design concepts into functional, high-performance web applications. You will ensure seamless user experiences by optimizing frontend components and maintaining compatibility across various browsers and platforms.

KEY TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Work within a development team to grow and support large, complex web applications
• Work with the senior developer, business analysts and managers to plan and execute new products, features and improvements
• Work closely with designers and backend developers to ensure the technical viability of UI/UX designs and optimize them for maximum speed and scalability
• Craft clean, efficient, and maintainable code in JSX, SCSS code
• Guarantee compatibility across various browsers and platforms for all web applications
• Perform usability and accessibility testing to elevate the overall user experience
• Diagnose and resolve frontend issues, ensuring the delivery of top-quality outputs
• Seamlessly integrate frontend components with backend systems and APIs
• Leverage React to construct components and establish design frameworks, setting the standard for frontend application development

REQUIREMENTS

• 7+ years of proven experience building user-facing web applications
• 4+ years of on-the-job development in JavaScript, HTML, CSS, React
• Experience in team handling
• Good understanding and knowledge of AWS
• Proficiency in crafting visually captivating and intuitive user interfaces
• Adeptness in code versioning tools, particularly Git
• Exceptional debugging and reasoning skills
• Strong written and verbal communication abilities
• Familiarity with agile development tools and methodologies
• Bachelor’s degree or 5 years of commensurate experience
