POSITION OVERVIEW

We are seeking an experienced Senior Automation Tester to join our dynamic team and contribute to the ongoing success of our test automation architectures. The candidate shall conduct automated tests to ensure the software created by developers aligns with requirements and designs and any bugs or issues are removed within a product before deployment to our Sponsors. Qualified candidates will be involved in but not limited to the quality assurance stage of software development and deployment.

REQUIREMENTS

·  Collaborate closely with the Test Manager and Development Team to design and implement test automation strategy

·  Create modular and reusable Automation frameworks with Selenium + TestNG automation

·  Design and develop high-quality, scalable, reliable and data driven automation test scripts

·  Identify, clearly report, track, retest, and resolve software defects using Jira testing application tools

·  Apply business and functional knowledge including testing standards, guidelines, and testing methodology to meet the team's overall test objectives.

KEY TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES

·  4+ years of proven expertise in creating Selenium-based Automation scripts and Web Application testing

·  Candidate should have good knowledge on manual as well as automation Testing concepts/tools

·  Experience of testing microservices based architecture

·  Exposure in API and Webservices testing using tools like SOAP UI / REST API / Postman

·  Strong Coding experience in Selenium Webdriver with Java and functional Knowledge of Maven, TestNG framework, Annotations, Page object model and Page Factory

·   Experience in integrating test results with test management tools such as Zephyr plug-in for JIRA

·   Experience in Agile methodology with focus in QA principles

·   Experience with bug management tools like HPALM, JIRA (Zephyr).

·    Knowledge of GITHUB, Devops, Protractor, Angular Web elements, CICD Pipelines, AWS would be an added advantage.

·    Excellent communication and critical thinking skills

·    Good organizational skills and detail-oriented mindset

MINIMUM JOB REQUIREMENTS

·   Bachelor’s degree from a four-year college or university or 4 years of commensurate experience
